Allihoopa is looking for a mobile developer to propel our addictive music-making apps to the next level. We are a tight-knit group of tech-minded creators who build award winning creative tools Figure and Take. Responsibilities

  • developing next generation music production apps built on industry praised Reason audio technology
  • designing and implementing high quality client code and server integration
  • guiding the future of product and technical backlogs together with the team

Qualifications

  • computer science bachelor's or similar experience
  • Cocoa Touch experience (with Android a plus)
  • apps released in the Apple iTunes Store or Google Play
  • solid collaboration skills and ability to adapt to a rapidly changing market
  • enthusiasm for embracing new platforms and technology
  • evidence of strong interest in self-improvement

Preferred Qualifications

  • a passion for music and helping others express themselves creatively
  • a love for social media and following mobile industry trends
  • experience with agile or lean development models (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)

Product designer

We’re looking for a passionate and talented product designer to help us create an amazing experience that fulfills our vision. You’ll work in a cross-functional team of engineers, product owners, business folks and other designers to build our service—on the web, in apps and embedded in others’ apps. You’re a great designer, excellent communicator, self-starter and team player. You’ll employ an arsenal of methods to get great ideas from lots of sources and conduct user tests of all kinds. And of course, ultimately you’ll produce great designs and corresponding materials to implement.


Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with others to turn big, and often complex, ideas into simple, lovable products
  • Develop design concepts that put people first, while also meeting our business goals
  • Inspire the organization by showing/prototyping what is possible before it is built
  • Work in an iterative process of prototyping and testing, take insights from data sources and real people and then translate them into successful solutions (both interactions and visuals)
  • Deliver necessary components to realize designs—both UX and UI

Requirements

  • A passion for social design and music
  • Great design sensibility evidenced by a demonstrable portfolio of past projects
  • Super communication skills. You should be able to clearly articulate your design decisions and what problems they’re solving
  • Ability to bring your designs to life in mockups and prototypes
  • Experience with web and mobile design (iOS and/or Android) working as part of cross-functional teams
  • Bonus: knowledge of music making

Marketing manager

Allihoopa is looking for its first marketing manager to extol our vision of uniting everyone doing music together by leading our communications and marketing efforts. We are on the brink of something big and are ready to move from our initial product development focus into wide market adoption.

About the role

As Marketing Manager, your goal is to ignite the music makers to spread the Allihoopa gospel. We expect that you’ll be familiar with a number of different methods, especially online, for growing an engaged community and be able to put those ideas into plans and then to implement. In short you’re a great marketer, who has strong intuition, creative abilities, able to see the big picture coupled with strong analytical skills.


Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Product Management and the Executive Team to make Allihoopa’s values real to users and the marketplace
  • Plan and execute marketing plans that drive engagement, retention, and ultimately, viral activity with our user base
  • Develop mechanisms to measure and share actionable learnings about customer journey, user experience, marketing content
  • Manage one person to start and hire/manage others as we grow, including interns and external contractors as necessary
  • Create and manage a budget
